A: Hello, can I speak to Maria?

B: She is not available right now.

A: Can I leave a message?

B: Sure. What is the message?

Ana often calls her friends after school. Sometimes they answer quickly, but sometimes they are busy. When a friend is not available, Ana leaves a short message. She likes texting too because it is fast and easy. On weekends she calls her grandmother to ask about her day. Ana thinks phone calls are a good way to stay connected.

Hi, this is Kevin. I’m calling to talk to Mia. Is she available? Oh, she is busy right now? No problem. Can you tell her I’ll call back in an hour? Thank you. Have a nice day!
