Mini Dialogue

A: What is your neighbourhood like?

B: It's quiet, and there is a park near my house.

A: Nice! Is your street quiet too?

B: Not really. It's busy during the day.

A: Do you want to move to another area?

B: Maybe. I want to live somewhere more peaceful.

I live in a friendly neighbourhood with many trees and small streets. There is a park near my house where families walk and children play. On my street, there are two stores and a café, so it is easy to buy what I need. The area is quiet at night but busy in the morning. I like my neighbourhood because everything is close, and the people are kind. Still, one day I want to move to a bigger place with more space.

My neighbourhood is very different from where I lived before. Now, there is a big park across the street, and I walk there every evening. There are also many small stores nearby, so I don't need to travel far to buy food. My street is quiet most of the time, but it gets busy on weekends. I enjoy living here because the area feels safe, and everything I need is close.

Which word means 'area around your house'? neighbourhood, store, routine?

Answer: neighbourhood

True or false: The street is quiet in the morning.

Answer: False

Fill in the blank: There is a ______ near my house.

Answer: park
