Mini Dialogue

A: I'm trying to choose a new jacket.

B: Which one do you like?

A: This one is cheaper, but that one has better quality.

B: True. The expensive one looks nicer too.

A: Yes, but I want to find a discount first.

B: Good idea. Let’s compare the prices online.

Sofia loves shopping, but she always compares prices before buying anything. She checks the price, the brand, and the quality. Last week, she wanted a new pair of shoes. The first store had a discount, but the shoes were not very comfortable. The second store had better quality, but the shoes were more expensive. After thinking about it, Sofia chose the pair with better quality because she wanted something that would last longer.

Today I am shopping for a new backpack. I found two options. The first one is cheaper, but it has worse material. The second one is more expensive, but the quality is much better. I am trying to make the best choice, so I am comparing the prices and checking if there is any discount available.

Which word means 'costs little money'? cheap, brand, fit?

Answer: cheap

True or false: 'Bigger' is a comparative adjective.

Answer: True

Fill in the blank: This one is ______ than that one.

Answer: cheaper
